Storyline

When Piet, an innocent man looking for work, gets roped up in an assassination on a local politician, he ends up working with the police to bring the culprit who hired him to justice. But it is soon revealed that Detective Andrew, whom Piet is helping work the case, is in fact the criminal known as the “Faceless Man”, and it soon becomes a cat and mouse game to bring this corrupt police man to justice.

Storyline
Jasper gets tough with the Scarecrow when the latter tries to steal his yo-yo. The Scarecrow, anxious to have the yo-yo just so Jasper will no longer have the yo-yo, tries a new approach, and tells Jasper the sad story of his poverty-ridden childhood, and he never owned a yo-yo. The more he talks about it, the angrier the Scarecrow becomes, so Jasper runs away, and takes his yo-yo with him.

John Henry and the Inky-Poo (1946)

Storyline
In this George Pal Puppetoon (production number U5-6), John Henry (voice of Rex Ingram), legendary figure of American folklore, goes to work for the C.& O. Railroad, which, shortly thereafter, buys an automatic steel-driving engine, called the Inky-Poo. John Henry matches his strength against the Inky-Poo, saying that any man can beat a machine because a man has a mind. John Henry wins, but drops at the finish, never to rise again. The choral music background is by the Luvenia Nash Singers. 

Jasper's Derby (1946)

Storyline
Jasper is outside playing his violin when an old racing horse hears the beautiful music. When Jasper played a more uptempo tune, the racing horse couldn't help but to gallop around the farm like he did in his younger days. The nostalgic feeling prompts Jasper to come up with the idea to play the uptempo tune during the next big race so the old racing horse can have a chance at being victorious again.
